印洲塘海岸公園成立於1996年7月5日，是香港首批海岸公園之一
在 水域總面積約680公頃.， 印洲塘山光水色，層巒疊嶂，仿如人間仙境，是一隅與世無爭的恬靜樂土。
這裡風平浪靜，主要因為四周有群山作為障屏，阻擋海洋的波浪，夏天不受東南季候風影響，冬天也避過凜洌的西北季候風，
氣候比香港其他地方乾燥，暴雨很少光臨，縱橫交錯的小溪流亦柔柔涓流，全都不足以造成廣泛氾濫


上天特別眷顧這一泓清水，首次到訪印洲塘，遊人總會流露驚訝的讚嘆目光，
那種截然不同的氛圍和寧靜安詳的感覺，讓人難以相信自己身處於香港。
