A 3-night kayak adventure with camping on the Grand River? Lake Metroparks has 3 rustic campsites with kayak access next to the water. These secluded sites sleep up to 8 people. They have fire pits, a grill and a picnic table. Campers are expected to practice leave no trace, as there are no restrooms, trash cans or running water.

Many paddlers choose to put-in at the Harpersfield Covered Bridge park in Ashtabula County. Between Harpersfield and Lake Erie, there are nearly 27 miles of river. Riverview Park, Baker Road Park and Indian Point Park each have a reservable campsite. ⛺️
