A boy named Sue makes a vow to kill the man that gave him that awful name.

A Boy Named Sue was the second film we ever shot. Originally shot and released in 2008, it has been completely re-edited from the ground up utilizing files recaptured from old MiniDV tapes in the highest possible quality imaginable. A garish, piss-yellow, in-camera color grade was used during the filming of the short over 15 years ago. Meticulous work was done to get rid of that tone in favor of a more natural look. Funnily enough, some original sound effects from the original edit were found and placed back into the sound edit. The project has been updated to its highest possible quality following today's standards. Initially shot in standard definition, it was upconverted to high definition. I'm so happy this is coming back and I sure hope you're excited to see it again! :D
