Day 824
Back to a Country Classic from 1938 here today. Here's my version of "It makes no difference now" (Floyd Tillman/Jimmie Davis). It's in this book i keep promoting from time to time called 'Sing your heart out Country Boy', collected by Dorothy Horstman with quotes by the writers who wrote them or relatives that knew them well while they were still alive. This one has a great quote by Floyd Tillman himself.

The song was recorded many many times and was even one of the first country songs to be recorded by Bing Crosby. My favorite version would be the one by Merle Haggard on his (if my memory doesn't fool me here) 'The Way i am" album on MCA ????

Interested in the book?
It was issued by Country Music Foundation Press in Nashville, Tennessee, USA
ISBN: 0-915608-10-3

If you're a songcollector like me you will cherish it ????????????

Be sure to spread love, not hate????

Thanks for watching. Be safe ????

The only schedule on this series is that there is none. Just a different song every day, that's all there is to it. Some will suck, some will be quite okay; and all 'verdicts' in between, too. So, so far it's been 303 (!) finished songs and old demos i (co)wrote myself. The rest are covers of various songs i love or just like to pick.. Just wondering how many there will be one day ????????
