Studies have shown Earth Science to be predominantly taught at the middle school grades and not at the high school level. Some schools offer Earth Science, however these schools are in the minority across the United States. This video discusses the importance of teaching Earth Science with both scientific rigor and cross cutting concepts combining the physical, chemical & biological sciences into the Earth Science curriculum. The benefits of this all encompassing science is undoubted and invaluable for all 21st century students.
