This truly is a quick acoustic ditty.

This might be useful for anyone wanting to Travis pick. Great for country tunes.

Reminiscent of Jerry Reed, Glen Campbell and, of course, Merle Travis.

The thumb (mostly) alternates between two bass strings to create a strong ‘independant’ rythm. You can hear a lot of Travis picking in Dylan’s early stuff. Paul Simon too.

Chords are:

*Intro*
C
C
C
C

*Verse*
Run down to A7: 5th string/2nd fret - 5th string/1st set - then to…
A7
D7sus2 (x-x-0-2-1-0)
G7
CaddG (x-3-2-0-1-3)
(x2)

*Chorus*
Fmaj7
Em7 (include 2nd string/3rd fret for the bluegrass vibe)
Am7addG (x-0-2-0-1-3)
D7sus4(x-x-0-2-1-3)
Fmaj7addG (x-x-3-2-1-3)
G6 (3-2-0-0-3-0)
C

…and back into verse. I haven’t written a bridge yet.
