What happens if you build a city that relies on only one industry?

In this Cities: Skylines 2 experiment, I decided to create a city powered entirely by stone mining. No diverse economy, no balanced industries, just quarries, rock processing, and an endless stream of trucks hauling stone across the map.

The goal was simple: turn a basic resource into the backbone of the entire economy and see if a stone-only city could actually survive.

But depending on a single industry comes with serious risks. Pollution starts spreading, traffic explodes around the quarries, and the economy becomes incredibly fragile if anything goes wrong. What begins as a simple mining town slowly grows into a massive quarry empire.

The question is: can a city built entirely on rock become rich… or does the whole system collapse under its own weight?
