Charles Dickens is one of the best-known writers in the world, and is considered to be the greatest novelist of the Victorian Era. If you live in an English-speaking country, you probably read Great Expectations, Oliver Twist, and A Christmas Carol in school. His work became so popular, it even sparked the creation of the world “Dickensian” to describe his style.
