It was a good night, 6/1/23), at Auri's Open Mic at Cameron's down in Half Moon Bay even though there were only 4 of us signed up to play. This meant that we got to go around again and 1 more artist did arrived later. As usual, Ken Voorheis did a very good job running the open mic and providing us with really good sound which makes it so easy to sing and play. I opened with a Doobie Brothers song from their Captain And Me album, 'Dark Eyed Cajun Woman', (note: there is a 20 second audio gap toward the end ) then a song that will be on my upcoming 5th CD, 'Doin' What The Devil Says To Do', and I closed out with a song for all my Willie Nelson fans, 'Pancho&Lefty'. I performed 3 of my original songs the 2nd time around and I will post those tomorrow. All in all, a lot of fun and I will be back.
