I’m an endocrinologist who would like to share his love for music. This song was written by Wayne Carson, Johnny Christopher, and Mark James. It was first sung by Gwen McCrae in 1972, and has been interpreted by several artists since, including Elvis Presley. My favorite version is the one by Willie Nelson.
