Dolly Parton is mourning the loss of Carl Dean, her husband of more than half a century. A statement posted to the country icon's social media accounts on March 3 confirmed that her beloved partner had passed away earlier that day. It read, "Carl Dean, husband of Dolly Parton, passed away March 3rd in Nashville at the age of 82. He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with immediate family attending. He was survived by his siblings Sandra and Donnie."
