Late last year after Kris Kristofferson died I began reviewing one of my songbooks of Kris's songs that I had bought during his early popularity. I learned several of his songs thinking there would be a tribute to him this year on Cayamo (instead I used them during jams). I liked the style of this one in which I did a repeat of a portion of the last line of each verse from the way he originally wrote it.
