Resident “purr‑mentor” trades catnaps for tours, launches debut single with new band “Bongo the Cat.”

Orlando, FL – April 1, 2026 – After years of stealing hearts, whisker‑twitching, and serving as the ultimate cat‑café mascot, Bongo, the beloved gray romeo of The Kitty Beautiful, has announced his next big adventure: a full‑time music career!

Bongo, who has been the star attraction and unofficial mentor to his feline coworkers, tells us he “has finally heard the call of his true muse – music.” He’s trading the cozy cushions of the lounge for a touring stage and is ready to share his purr‑fect beats with the world.

Introducing “Bongo the Cat," Bongo’s debut band, already hard‑at‑work on a full‑length album. The first single, “Reign of Fuzz”, drops today and is available on all streaming platforms such as Clawify, meowazon music, purradora and more!

To make this dream a reality, Bongo has assembled an all‑animal‑friendly crew:

Rob, longtime friend of co‑owner Dave, will serve as Bongo’s manager and tour liaison.
Brenda, Bongo’s devoted god‑mother, is stepping away from fostering to become his roadie. She'll be handling gear, cat‑caddies, and backstage treats.
Cleo, the café’s beloved poodle, has signed on as Bongo’s full‑time bodyguard, ensuring every venue stays “paws‑itively” secure.
