GeorgeTowne is a Lodi-based Americana band which formed out of their members’ mutual love of and a tribute to the harmonies initially featured in the late-60’s and early-70’s country/rock/folk era. To create their distinctive sound, the band features four outstanding voices blended over the finest music produced by veteran performers George Gibson (rhythm guitar, vocals, songwriter), Doug Carruesco (bass, vocals), Brandon Kyle (keyboards, vocals), Bill Ferrero (lead guitar, vocals) and John McDonald (drums/percussion), each of whom have strong resumes in either the regional or national music scene. GeorgeTowne performs crowd-pleasing tribute songs (Bob Dylan, Eagles, John Prine, Darius Rucker, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Kris Kristofferson, Desert Rose Band, Kenny Rogers, Vince Gill, and many more) as well as many award winning original songs.
