On June 15, 2022, Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers will performed as part of the History Is Lunch series in conjunction with the World of Marty Stuart exhibit at the Two Mississippi Museums.

Mississippi native Alan Sibley began his career in music at the age of fifteen in 2001 playing mandolin with the Sullivan Family, then went on to play with other prominent bluegrass bands before forming the Magnolia Ramblers. Sibley is also the host of The Bluegrass Trail on RFD-TV.

Philadelphia, Mississippi native Marty Stuart began playing country music and collecting memorabilia from the big stars' shows when he was just nine years old. The World of Marty Stuart exhibition tells his story and shows objects from his fabulous collection, including his first guitar, original handwritten Hank Williams manuscripts, guitars from Merle Haggard and Pops Staples, costumes from Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton, personal items from Johnny Cash, including his first black performance suit, and much more.

History Is Lunch is sponsored by the John and Lucy Shackelford Charitable Fund of the Community Foundation for Mississippi.

The hour-long programs are held in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. MDAH livestreams videos of the program at noon on Wednesdays on their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/MDAHOfficial/ and their YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/MDAHVideo.
