We captured an American Kestrel Falcon in flight when taking some drone footage a magnificent field cutting, an image of Merle which our friend Roger cut for our Merle Haggard tribute celebration.

We believe Merle came to visit us on that day.

The red, white and blue variety of the American Kestrel migrates south in September and a number of them, along with the Red Tail Hawks, stop by to hunt mice in the big field behind the Roadhouse.

Serendipity.

We put together a world class country band and included a segment with our two beautiful Quarter Horses, Skip and Drifter.

We hope you enjoy the video we made of Merle singing "If I could only Fly" with some photos and video of the event.

The spirit of Merle is alive and well in Kerhonkson, NY and around the world.

We truly captured the essence of Merle and his spirit on that special day at the Kerhonkyhonk Roadhouse.
