Helping to create the Bakersfield Sound along with his band The Strangers and Buck Owens, Merle Haggard is considered a country legend, being successful from the 1960's through to the 2000's.

"The Bottle Let Me Down" was a single from Haggard's second single from his album "Swinging Doors". The song reached #3 on the US Country Charts.

This performance was recorded live at Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida.
