Town of Brule to Rock lake. This is a warden patrol trail not used by many backpackers, even in the zenith of the back country. It follows along the NE portion of Jasper National Park pushing up against good hunting grounds. It also has 3 cabins on it. So with old descriptions and some beta from park staff, I set off trying to hike it.

Day 5. Day of 4 passes. Epic day hike trying to explore the area. Who knew there was so much!

This backpack trip is described in Don Beers old Jasper book and old versions of the Canadian Rockies trail guide. The short bit on the Willow Creek trail is still easily found in current guides.
