In September 2012, I did this interview with Gordon Lightfoot ahead of his performance at a performing arts center in Brighton, Michigan. Gordon was good humored, thoughtful and kind throughout. One of my favorite experiences in my 20 years in journalism. Rest in peace, Gordon.
