Johnny Cash appeared on the National Barn Dance sometime in mid 1964. This is one of few performances with footage that we see a unique guitar of his. Particularly unique for the custom pick guard on the guitar. He would go on to use this guitar for the rest of mid 1964 before switching back to regularly using a more standard guitar before and going into, 1965.

Here we see him appear for a 3 song performance which includes:
• Big River
• I Walk The Line
• Busted
