Tennessee had its 15-game midweek win streak snapped on Tuesday night after a 9-6 loss to Lipscomb at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The Vols jumped out to an early 4-1 lead after two innings but struggled in the middle frames as the Bisons scored six unanswered runs to take a 7-4 lead into the seventh.

Lipscomb (16-27) scored in four consecutive innings from the third to the sixth and added two more in the eighth after UT pulled within two runs after scratching across a run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
