The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas was a musical movie from 1982 based on the hit broadway show by the same name. It starred Dolly Parton, Burt Reynolds, Dom Deluise, Jim Nabors, and Charles Durning. The movie is based on a true story about a controversial brothel in La Grange, Texas known as The Chicken Ranch. Join us for a fun tour of the filming locations which include the Texas State Capitol in Austin, along with a peek at the remains of the abandoned Chicken Ranch itself.
