Merle is it true that you have been nominated more times for more awards than any other male country artist Uh someone told me that night that I was second to Loretta Lynn I think uh for nominations I think I am I have more I have the most for a male artist How does that make you feel Good Nice nice to know that I really hadn't counted it Ralph Emery brought it to my attention A while back he called me on the phone and said Chief you are the king He said you have got more nominations than anybody else I hadn't noticed that but it is nice to find out Does it make you feel like you have really fulfilled your life and done everything you wanted to
