This superhero horror film tells the story of an individual, half man half vampire.

Boasting half-vampire physiology, Blade (Wesley Snipes) has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and senses.

And because he is also a man, Blade is completely immune to silver, garlic, and sunlight.

With expertise in martial arts and hatred for vampires, Blade says to Dr. Karen Jenso (N'Bushe Wright):

"There are worse things out tonight than vampires."

"Like what?" Jenso asks.

"Like me," says Blade.
