Travelling Sri Lanka by Train

We spent about four months in beautiful Sri Lanka, travelling mostly by local trains. The best way to see the country! We started in Colombo on the West coast of the country, then travelled through the ancient sites in the North before heading to Arugam Bay on the East coast where we lived for a few months. Our final weeks were spent exploring inland and then the South Coast before heading back to Colombo to fly out.
A country with a little bit of everything, from Hiking in the mountains and high country tea plantations to surfing on the coasts and safaris in the jungle, Sri Lanka is one of my favourite destinations so far! Enjoy and stay tuned for more videos from Sri Lanka and beyond...
