Willie Nelson is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor who is known for his contributions to country music. He was born in Texas in 1933 and started his music career in the 1950s. Nelson has released more than 70 studio albums and has written some of country music's most popular songs, such as "Crazy" and "On the Road Again." He has won numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including multiple Grammy Awards, induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and a Kennedy Center Honor. Nelson is also known for his activism, including his role as co-founder of Farm Aid, a charity that supports family farmers, and his advocacy for the legalization of marijuana.
