48 Hours In Scotland’s Best Place to Live

A few years ago, Dunkeld was named the best place to live in Scotland by The Sunday Time so I spent 48 hours in this historic Scottish Village to understand why.

Set beside the River Tay on the edge of the Scottish Highlands, in this Scotland travel video, I explore one of the most picturesque villages in Scotland, discovering Dunkeld Cathedral, the Hermitage and some of the best things to do in Dunkeld.

Along the way, I also experienced a rare Scottish tradition that has almost disappeared; birch sap harvesting. For a few weeks each year, birch trees are carefully tapped for sap, and I learn about the tradition of tapping birch sap in Scotland with Birken Tree to discover more about sap collection and these traditional seasonal practices.
