Last night, for the first time in this escalating war, an Iranian ballistic missile punched through Israel’s air defenses… and slammed into Jerusalem. This wasn’t near the border. This wasn’t in an open desert. This was the heart of the country.

Just after midnight, air raid sirens screamed across the city. Residents ran for shelters. Then — a streak of light cut across the sky. Despite Israel’s advanced defense systems — Israel Defense Forces operating Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow — one missile got through. Seconds later… a massive explosion rocked West Jerusalem.

The missile struck a road, carving a deep crater into the pavement. Cars were crushed. Debris scattered everywhere.

Emergency responders from Magen David Adom treated six to seven people. One man was moderately wounded by shrapnel. Others suffered lighter injuries. Police sealed off the blast zone, searching for explosive fragments.
