Bakersfield is a great place, it has the best people and many activities for families all year round. It’s a thriving sports town with many professional and collegiate athletes who are from Bakersfield. It has been called Nashville west and the California capital of country music, with 2 hall of famers to make that claim, the late Buck Owens and Merle Haggard. Today the music scene is producing great young artists in this rich agricultural and oilfield community. #bakersfield #buckowens
