Oildale is in the zipcode 93308 of Bakersfield, California. Famous for the Oil industry and country music, it’s where the legendary Merle Haggard was born and it’s where Bakersfield country music superstar Buck Owens had his legendary recording studios. Buck and Merle, and so many stars recorded big hits there. Goldie Hawn recorded a country music album at Buck Owens recording studios in the early 1970’s with Buck Owens producing several songs and his backing band the Buckaroos backing Goldie Hawn. Oildale also was the home of nascar superstar Kevin Harvick. Also many members of the band KORN were from Oildale and Bakersfield. #buckowens #bakersfield #korn
