Award winning journalist, songwriter, musician, and producer, Peter Cooper, shares his perspective on the life and career of the late Billy Ray Reynolds (1940-2019) in an interview recorded on July 7, 2020. The two met in 2002 while Cooper was the music writer for The Tennesseean, Nashville's newspaper of record. Later, Cooper was a senior writer, producer, and executive with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. He died on December 6, 2022, following a tragic fall and head injury. He was 52.
